General FAQ's
Where is the gym located?
In Sutton Hall at the Glennie School. Access and best parking is in the large carpark on Vacy St.
Our administration is run from Clive Berghofer Sports Centre at The Glennie School, which is just next to the gym.
Are you just open for Glennie School Students?
No, we are open to all members of the public in Toowoomba and surrounding suburbs.
What should my child wear to class?
We do not have a set club uniform - so your child can wear any clothes that are comfortable and non restricting. Activewear is fine and so are school sport uniforms, shorts, bike pants, singlets etc..
Can my child attend a trial class before we commit to booking in?
We offer a free trial class for any of our afternoon classes (GymFun, GymSkills, Boys, Junior and Senior Girls). Your child can come along and get to know the coaches and other participants and have plenty of fun before you commit to booking in. It's a free and no-commitment trial lesson.
For our KinderGym classes we off an $11 trial lesson to see if you and your child love the class before committing to a term.
Do you have make-up lessons if we miss a class?
You can request a make-up lesson for any class if we run that class on multiple days in the week. If we only run the class once a week then unfortunately we cannot offer a make-up.
Are there any extra fees I should know about?
Our fees are transparent because we want families to enjoy Glennie Gymnastics and not worry about hidden costs.
In addition to the regular class fees there is an annual Gymnastics Queensland registration fee of $40 per child in afternoon classes (none for KinderGym) which we will charge you with your first fees of the year.
If your child is participating in extra events such as the TeamGym events - there are extra costs involved such as training fees, competition entry fees and uniform fees. All of these costs will be outlined for parents before committing to to the events.
