Our Coaches

Catharine Brider

Catharine began teaching gymnastics at Glennie in 2001 when her children were participating in classes. She has been running the KinderGym from 2002 and then began helping in the after-school classes too.

Catharine is an advanced level coach and has a passion for the under 5's! She has developed our KinderGym program to be wonderful and exciting for both the little ones and their parents. Catharine is our Head Coach and oversees all the curriculums and programs that we run. She would love to involve more school classes and local Team Gym competitions and displays.

Amy Logan

Amy began gymnastics at Glennie Gymnastics in 2001 and was a competitive gymnast until she was 15. She then returned to the competitive gymnastics world for another year at the age of 19. Amy has coached at Glennie Gymnastics since 2011 and has a passion for teaching primary and secondary girls in the gym. She has worked hard to develop TeamGym at Glennie gymnastics, and is an advanced level coach. Amy would love to run more school classes and inclusive classes as she is studying to become a special needs and HPE teacher.

Damien Schulz

Damien Schulz has been a full time Fitness & Movement Coach for the past seven years. After watching his three young children attend Glennie Gymnastics he decided to join the Glennie Gymnastics team as one of the boys coaches.

Damien has a real passion for human movement and with certificate 3 & 4 in fitness, intermediate gymnastics coach and numerous other functional training certifications, he is always eager to help our gymnasts develop new skills.
